I was pleased with the quality of these parts. They were slightly bent at the ends which I was able to correct. The leg is arched at the pivot hole and the arch should be left in. The legs were a challenge to install on my Fender Deluxe Reverb II because there are no instructions and the amp never came with them. Measurements will vary depending on your amp. In an internet tutorial I viewed, it advised they should be 3/4" above the bottom of the cabinet. I determined the depth of placement based on the width of the bottom metal corner's leg, which was 1-5/8". So, when vertical, they are 3/4" above the bottom and the back edge of leg is touching the corner's leg edge. The most critical installation step is drilling the pivot holes with the exact same location. This ensures the extended legs both touch at the same angle. While measuring this, a level surface is necessary. I used an angle of the leg from the back of the cabinet of 45 degrees, providing a tilt angle for the cabinet of 30 degrees. Be aware the legs are tapered. I measured the angle where the leg and cabinet were closest, not at the end of the leg. The stop location (which gets the third washer) is at least 1/2" down from the leg's top when the leg is extended back. So, the good news is, I can hear the amp considerably better when tilted back, not much weight was added and I no longer need a separate amp stand.Fender 16" Tilt-Back Amp Legs Kit
.The tilt-back legs were purchased for a Mustang IV. The Fender tech support provided position specifications for a Fender '65 Twin Reverb as Leg (2 3/16" from back, 5 1/2" from top); Stop (4 5/8" from back, 3 15/16" from top). The Mustang IV overall cabinet spec is close to that of the Twin and the Twin uses 16" legs, as per the technician. I plan to try these measurements before drilling holes!
