My N2 ('92) American Tele bridge screws were too tall and stuck out of the saddles and scratched the heel of my hand when I tried to mute the strings while playing. These screws were of varied length so I just used the shorter ones to replace the ones that stuck out. The bridge is smooth now.Fender American Std Bridge Height Screws (12)

These poles are staggered in height, and shorter than Fenders standard poles, meaning you canadjust string height lower to the fret board curvature without them sticking up through the saddles.
This allows low action on all the strings without scratching and irritating the heel of your hand
while muting strings, and eliminates the problem that cheap poorly machined poles create,
many of which have jagged raw tops.

.These are, in fact, bridge saddle height adjustment screws. And they are from Fender. Other than that, I don't have too much positive to say about these. I am sure they would probably work well in the proper application (that's why I gave them 2 stars) but here is my issue. The description says these are for American Standard instruments, and they might very well be. But I was working on a 2002/2003 Corona, California made Precision bass and these screws do not fit. The bridge on this bass requires a 6-32 x 3/8" screw. These screws are 4-32 x 1/4" (approx.), which, by the way, is not noted anywhere in the description. Another oddity about these screws: the pack contained 12 screws. Four (4) of them were approx. 1/4" in length, and the other eight were a shorter length! This screws might work on the bass that you have, but be careful and certain of the size you need BEFORE you order.

.Just like the title says, USA bridge saddle screws. They are shorter than the MiM ones so they don't poke and scrape your hand when you palm mute. Also, they're not that cheap nickel material used in the MiM ones - meaning they DO NOT STRIP :D!!!
These seemingly insignificant little screws really are a huge quality of life improvement for any modern style Fender bridge. For the pocket change they cost, it's really quite silly not to get these if you're currently using the MiM stock screws.
